FAQ's
What is your experience in personalized
books? We have been designing
and publishing personalized
books since 1987. Formerly, we used preprinted pages
and covers, as other personalized book companies still do.
In 2002 we introduced the all-digital Jiff-e-Books method,
which uses no preprinted materials. Our process makes your
inventory costs much lower. In 2003 we introduced the Mini
Book, the first small, low-cost personalized book.
How much do the books cost wholesale?
Hard cover Jiff-e-Books cost the distributor $3.00 each.
If you buy your own paper locally, the price is $2.80 per
book. In comparison, other companies charge from $4 -$5
per book. Mini Books are priced according to volume, and
can cost as little as about $.50 each.
What is the retail price of the
books? We suggest a retail price
of $12.95 for hard cover books, $2.95 for Mini Books, and
$5.95 for the Large Soft Cover books. Of course, you may
set your own price.
How do I become a distributor?

I live
in another country. Can I order from your site?
Yes, you can order our site if you're in another country.
Click on International Distributors at the top of any page
to read information about our large soft cover books designed
for international distributors. Of course, overseas distributors
may also sell the deluxe, hard cover books if they so choose.
What equipment do I need?
The software runs on pc's running Windows XP™ or Vista™.
You need a color inkjet printer or color laser printer with
good quality and print speed. You also need a paper trimmer
and one or two staplers, which are available from us or
from any office supply store.
How long does it take to print a
Jiff-e-Book? It depends on your
printer and computer. A good inkjet printer should be able
to print all the text and pictures for a hard cover book
in about 5 minutes. A mini book takes about 1 1/2 minutes
to print.
Can you publish a book for me?
Yes! If there is a custom book that you would like to have,
we can custom-make a CD for you from your text and illustrations
for a charge of $395. With the custom CD, you will be able
to make and sell your own book in any quantity you wish.
Is your site secure for ordering?
Yes. Our checkout is through PayPal's secure server, so
you can be assured of safety when you order from Jiff-e-Books.
